What is accreditation?
Accreditation takes place when an organisation that provides certification, testing and inspection information is subsequently assessed by a third party against recognised and robust standards. This third party accreditation provides independent validation of all the supplier information supplied.
The accreditation process impartially demonstrates the organisation's competence and performance capability and is the key to reducing risk and ensuring that public sector buyers can have confidence in the services provided by the supplier selected.
